MMORPG (usually shortened to MMO) is an acronym for Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game. These are games played via the Internet and involving hundreds or thousands of players all playing on the same server or gameworld. Players can meet each other in-game, play together, and adventure with thousands of people from around the world. |

The focus is squarely on pets: the Necromancer looks set to become a true pet class, reminiscent of the Mastermind from City of Villains. 'The balance and progression of the class is being altered to introduce 2 pet points every 5 levels after level 5, resulting in all 8 base pet points being available at level 20 instead of at level 70.' Access to ad hoc bonus pet points is also being improved, with a rework to the Nightfall feat tree. |

Seventhly, the Age of Conan has the most constraints-free PK system.
You can PK with your Age of Conan Gold players everywhere in the Age of Conan except in the city, where only the PK with NPC is allowed. You are allowed to PK, wild brawl as you like. You will be freer in the instancing since there are no safety zones in the Age of Conan. |

Age of Conan Gold players create and customise their character based on four classic archetypes: soldier, rogue, priest or magic-user. Choosing to be Stygian, Cimmerian or Aquilonian also determines your sub-class, such as assassin, shaman or conqueror. |

At least, until now they have kept up with the self imposed schedule, releasing minor fixes twice a week and steadily adding small new content enhancements. Some of the updates were badly received by the community and Funcom promptly offered the rollbacks requested and, recently, one of the updates refused to get off the ground and all the game servers were unreachable for around a day, prompting a massive rollback. |

Martial Heroes, a 3D MMORPG set in the ancient orient, is probably one of the most accommodating MMORPGs on the market. The game's developers tried their best to make sure players start off with enough equipment and supplies to enjoy the game. Unfortunately, the developers over did it. All new characters in Martial Heroes start off with 1,000 HP & MP potions, all the skill books they'll need for the first few levels, a mount and a set of free equipment. There's nothing wrong with starting new players off with some basic equipment and a handful of potions, but it's clear that the developers went overboard with handouts. Being convenient is one thing, but giving new players everything they could possibly need takes away any challenge an MMORPG has and the fun of having to save up for an awesome new sword. |

The prospective company (still pending approval for its existence from stockholders and various government agencies) has made even further waves with other recent moves, such upcoming CEO Bobby Kotick floating concepts such as Blizzard being used to push Activision franchises such as Guitar Hero into Asian markets and the decision to leave the Entertainment Software Association (and as a result not taking part in this year's E3). |
